SRE Writer's Corner

Rick Swift

Rick hails from Fort Lauderdale and has been involved with the entertainment industry in many different aspects of his life. Starting out as a professional singer while a member of the prestigious Florida's Singing Sons Boychoir and continuing in the performing arts in several plays and musicals at Flagler College. He also served eight years in the United States Marine Corps where he got to explore creative writing as an Intel scripter for NATO in Stavanger, Norway. Rick created FilmGrouch.com to keep his love of movies and descriptive writing intact as a film critic and copyrighter.

He has worked on international commercial campaigns where he created the "Thrillometer" on a shoestring budget and has been a ghost writer for a weekly "ask the expert" ad campaign. Rick has always been fascinated with what engages people and what entertains them and keeps them coming back for more. He has ideas and wants to put them to use for you.
